Located at the foot of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, about 5 miles outside of Buena Vista, CO, Cottonwood Hot Springs is a must stop if you are staying in the area and need some R&R. Buena Vista and the hot springs at Cottonwood offer a remarkable view of the Collegiate Peaks mountain range.
Facility:
Cottonwood Hot Springs is naturally gravity-fed with hot mineral water, reaching temperatures as high as 110 degrees in the pools. There are a variety of pools both large and small. Along Cottonwood Creek there are also several hot tubs.
Atmosphere:
Cottonwood Hot Springs does not permit alcohol, smoking, dogs, and glass in the pool areas. Swimsuits are required at all times.
